Who is the FirstMexico Group?
We are a firm headquartered in San Diego, California specializing
in maximizing investment returns for investors in Mexican
real property. We help our clients identify, manage, eliminate
and/or reduce acquisition, ownership and disposition risks
in Mexico. Our clients include institutional investors, lenders
and developers.
After twenty-five years of operating in Mexico we have time
tested working relationships with U.S. and Mexican real property
experts including attorneys, tax specialists, master planners,
engineers, surveyors and appraisers to assist you, when needed,
at every step of a transaction.
FirstMexico Group was founded by David Wiesley after serving
as director of Mexico operations for a major US title insurance
company.
Mr. Wiesley was born and raised in Mexico and is considered
a pioneer in the Mexican title insurance industry having been
responsible for introducing and registering the first title
insurance policies with the Mexican government. He has been
quoted in several leading periodicals including the Wall St.
Journal and New York Times. Mr. Wiesley has been activein
the Mexico real estate industry for over twenty years.
